to use it put the substance in the bottom and hold a flame about 1/2 an inch below it for a while, until you see vapor fill the light bulb, then suck through the straw.
If the cap is to small, you will have to get a bigger one, if its to big use tape, glue, or another adhesive.

Applying any flame to glass can be dangerous. Never heat cold glass, but slightly warmed glass so that it does not shatter.
